Romu first fell in love with cooking as a young boy in France and has a wealth of experience in the kitchen, having worked in world-renowned restaurants across Europe including at Michelin Starred Restaurants Château La Roche Le Roy in the Touraine region in West of France and La Truffière in Paris.

Relocating to Melbourne years later (after meeting the love of his life), Romu immersed himself in the thriving hospitality scene at prestigious restaurants such as Jacque Reymond’s ‘Bistro Gitan’ and Frank Camora’s ‘Mo Vida Aqui.’

With an acute eye for detail and refined technique, Romu is consistent in producing intricate, visually-pleasing, and above all, incredibly delicious dishes.
